  1. The d+d Evolution Revolution

Makenzie (the “davies”) and Kelsey (the “dixon”) are two millennial go-getters making positive change in how brands communicate. The duo met while working in the Fortune 500 beauty industry of New York City in 2010. They became professionals in an era where social media had just begun to take reign on conversations. They are a perfect storm of coveting the integrity of face-to-face, while valuing a chat via emoticons + hashtags.

With two fingers on the pulse of marketing in tomorrow’s world, the socialites observed a lack of inclusiveness in brands and too many missed opportunities in marketing efforts to today’s consumer audience. They launched davies + dixon to ensure brands have tailor-made solutions to foster worthy customer experiences.

Since the launch in February 2015, davies + dixon has acquired clients all over the nation, set up shop in its Seattle office and has more than doubled in size. In 2016, d+d was recognized as a Supplier of the Year from Smart Meetings Magazine and as Best in Show from PCMA Convene. The founders have spoken at Meeting Professionals International Cascadia Conference, International Live Events Association Seattle and Levo League.
